CODY is a Danish band established in 2009 playing folk inspired pop melodies with hints of a nordic gloom. CODY has released two EPs – “Cody” from 2009 and “Under the Pillow, Under the Elms” from 2011, and the two albums “Songs” (2009) and their latest album “Fractures” (2012). Front man and songwriter Kaspar Kaae began writing songs of his own in 2006 and several musicians and friends has since been joining in and become a part of the band. During the years CODY has been invited to support acts like Band Of Horses, The National, Bonnie ‘Prince’ Billy, Tindersticks and has played Roskilde Festival (DK) three times (2009, 2011 and 2012), G! Festival (FO), Spot Festival (DK), By:Larm, Fusion Feestival, Montreux Jazz Festival and is known a fantastic liveband. Their music has been featured in films such as the German Warner Bros.’ Film ”12 Meter Ohne Kopf” and the Danish films “En Familie” (A Family) by Pernille Fischer Christensen, “Kapringen” (The Hijacking) by Tobias Lindholm and “Me & You Forever” by Kaspar Munk.
