Heaven & Earth brings to you its 5th album entitled ‘V’ released by Frontiers Records on July 16th, 2021. It was produced and mixed by Lynn Sorensen. The new line-up consists of Stuart Smith on guitar, Lynn Sorensen on bass and Simon Wright on drums along with new additions from Italy, Gianluca Pertralia on vocals and from Hungary, George Barabas on keyboards. The backing tracks for “V” were recorded in Los Angeles in early 2021 during the Covid pandemic and the tracks were sent to Petralia and Barabas in their respective countries who added their contributions. Says Smith: “I think ‘V’ has a much more live feel than our previous albums because by the time we got the new line-up together, we were contractually up against the gun time wise. This forced us to work under pressure, resulting with us going with ideas that came from the top of our heads as opposed to meticulously working everything out. Overall, I’m very happy with the final result”. Sorensen adds: “When I produce a project, I always prefer to track the ideas as close to the point of inception as possible. That is where all the emotion lies, that feeling you have when you first meet the love of your life. That is where music becomes art, rather than a mathematical equation. That, in my opinion, is Heaven & Earth ‘V’”.
