-Skinner Box- band was formed in March 2011 in Athens, Greece. The group consists of Vana Rose (Vocals), Spyros Mitrokotsas ( Lead/Rhythm guitars), Stefanos Manousis (Bass guitar/Piano) and George Papanastasiou (Drums/Percussion). Skinner Box music style blends various subgenres of alternative music, like alternative rock, post rock, trip-hop and dark wave. Their music is based on emotional contrasts and complex - modern themes are wound tightly inside dark and impressionistic lyrics. Group signed to -AF Records- German label. They are now releasing their first E.P -life is chemistry- (coming out 1st of March 2013 -worldwide distribution). They´ve recorded in -Artracks studios- with their producer Alex Bolpasis.
